Graduation

In order to complete your undergraduate degree, you must declare your degree candidacy with the Registrar's Office. Please complete the online Application For Undergraduate Degree Form (AFD) by the Add Deadline prior to the semester in which you plan to complete your requirements for graduation.

The Application for Undergraduate Degree is now available through the BU BRAIN. You will find it on the Student Tab, under Student Records. *If you completed your application in the last two weeks on paper, you do not need to resubmit.

Only those students who have an application form on file will be considered as a degree candidate.  If you do not graduate in the semester you have indicated on this form, you must submit a new application for the correct semester. The online form can only be completed by students currently enrolled at Binghamton Univeristy. If you are enrolled somewhere else and need to submit your AFD, please contact the Registrar's Office for instructions.

Graduate students must complete the Graduate School's Declaration of Candidacy form. This form may be completed on line, or it can be completed in hard copy and submitted to the Graduate School, Couper Administration Building, Room AD-134. Visit the Graduate School's Deadlines for Degree Completion page for important commencement deadlines.
